About
What this is
An interview-preparation site for network engineering roles in trading infrastructure — built for one person's 2027 preparation and published because explaining out loud is how the material gets learned. Questions and answers cover multicast market data, low-latency design principles, exchange connectivity (SGX/HKEX) and routing.
Content policy
- Own words plus citations. Everything here is a paraphrase of publicly sourced study material, written into a personal knowledge base with a link to the source. No paid course text, no book chapters, no vendor material is reproduced — those are cited, not copied.
- The knowledge base is the single source. The site is generated from those notes at build time; when a note is corrected, the next build carries the correction here.
- Verification marks travel with the facts. Answers markedUnverified could not be checked against a primary source yet; No single sourcemeans the claim is standard engineering knowledge without one authoritative reference; Corrected vs source means a secondary source was found wrong and the note records the correction. Corrections are logged in the knowledge base, not silently rewritten.
How to use it
- Study pages group questions by source note, with reference cards, incident postmortems and full notes attached.
- Quizzes are spoken-answer flashcards: say the answer, reveal, grade yourself. Progress is stored only in your own browser.
- Search covers every question, card and note.
